Kaman/[kaw-min] / 嘉敏 [ga-mun] // 

Kaman (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist who relocated to Victoria, BC in 2022 from Toronto, ON, expanding her clientele. With over a decade of being a professional artist, Kaman is recognized for primarily illustrative tattoos, Hong Kong childhood nostalgia and tailoring a gentle tattoo framework.

While Kaman’s portfolio is diverse, her primary focus remains on exploring the culture and arts of East Asia, deeply influenced by experiences and philosophies as a Chinese-Born-Canadian. However, she can never say no to tattooing any good story!

Outside of work, Kaman is a tea snob that enjoys progressive techno, yapping about new science fiction, home-cooking, survival video games and slowing down in the great outdoors of Vancouver Island.

Recently, Kaman’s works were exhibited at Tender Touch at The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria until May 2024.
