Elise (she/her) is an illustrator born and raised on the lower mainland. She started her tattooing career hand poking out of the Ministry of Casual Living in 2018. In 2020 she travelled to Seoul to learn how to use a machine under the mentorship of Brown Peanut, and has been at Black Cat since October 2021.

She loves to explore movement in her work (getting the perfect tattoo placement with a client is one of her favourite steps of the process), and is most inspired by folk tales, spooky lore and storytelling through art.

When Elise isn’t tattooing or drawing, she loves travelling, cooking, and playing a lot of disc golf!
