Erika Kim

Erika (she/her) is an illustrator and mixed media artist. Her artistic journey started at a young age when she began to explore diverse mediums, eventually honing her distinctive style. A notable aspect of her work lies in her tattoo designs, which often draw inspiration from manga panels and gothic architecture. Erika enjoys hand-drawing her tattoo designs, with a primary focus on fine line and blackwork techniques.

Originally from a small town, Erika moved to Victoria for university. It was there that she had the opportunity to meet her mentor, Kaman, and begin her apprenticeship in June 2023.

Erika aspires to ultimately empower others to embrace their own bodies and collaborate on creating artwork that fosters self-confidence and positivity. She continues to learn and improve her skills with guidance from her mentor and her surroundings, staying true to her lifelong artistic spirit.
